Patriotic optimistic after meeting with gov’t on refinery proposals

Patriotic Energies is looking to the future with optimism after meeting with the Finance Minister and his team on its refinery proposals.

The meeting, according to the company, took place today and included the Minister and his technocrats.

Patriotic described the meeting as productive.

It follows government’s rejection of the latest proposal from the company on February 18th and Patriotic’s February 21st statement that there were significant misunderstandings.

The refinery in Pointe-a-Pierre was shut down on November 30th 2018 as Petrotrin was restructured into four new companies.
