OWTU to host motorcade; claims workers continue to face “threats”


    A motorcade will take place tomorrow as the OWTU continues a campaign to highlight the disenfranchisement of workers.

    According to the union, employees face threats of retrenchment, privatisation, falling standard of living, non-settlement of negotiations and crime.

    The motorcade will start at the OWTU head office in San Fernando and end at the Aranguez Savannah.

    Motorists will drivee along the Southern Main Road from Marabella to Chaguanas, through Montrose and then unto the Eastern Main Road.
