An average of 1.2 million dollars per month was stolen through card skimming since the start of 2017.

National Security Minister Stuart Young told the Parliament that just over 27 million dollars was fraudulently taken between January 1st 2017 and November 15th 2018.

He says the police service has received a total of 3,044 reports of card skimming in that time.

However, Mr. Young could not state how much of these stolen funds have been recovered.
