Most tenants at Oasis Greens in Chaguanas are owing the HDC a total 3.4 million dollars in outstanding rent.
The corporation made this known today, saying it is hampering their effort in addressing infrastructural issues that the said resident have been complaining of.
HDC officials visited the housing site today to assess these complaints.
It says be followed by a a social survey to understand the conditions as well as a meeting with residents within three weeks.
But the corporation notes that minor infrastructural issues will be addressed.
HDC said 75% of the 214 rental households within Oasis Greens have fallen behind on their monthly payments of 12 to 15 hundred dollars.
