The NWRHA says administration of the 2nd dose of the Sinopharm COVID-19 Vaccine will begin tomorrow, June 11th.

While the WHO recommends an interval of eight to twelve weeks between Astra Zeneca doses, the time between Sinopharm doses is much shorter, at three to four weeks.

The NWRHA says persons are required to visit the same facility where their 1st dose was administered, on the date indicated on the immunization card and at the same time as their initial vaccination.

However, persons who received their 1st dose at the St James District Health Facility are required to visit the Diego Martin Health Centre instead.

The NWRHA adds that this arrangement only applies to persons who are due for their 2nd dose of the Sinopharm Vaccine.

It says persons are being contacted to schedule their second dose of Astra Zeneca vaccine, which is currently being administered at Queens Park Savannah only.

For any further information or clarification, persons can contact 868-493-2838.
