No autopsies at Forensic Science Centre, Minister promises relief

Autopsies have come to a temporary halt at the Forensic Sciences Centre in St James, however the National Security Minister is promising relief within the next 24 hours.

According to Mr Stuart Young, the issue was relayed to him yesterday.

Mr Young did not state the reason for the pathologist being unable to perform his duties,

There have been complaints for years about a lack of pathologists at the Forensics Sciences Centre.

The Minister claims though that steps are being taken to address this.

Mr Young was speaking during the post-cabinet news briefing.
