MP Charles: Anti-gang law is not working


    Current anti-gang law has not been working according to Opposition MP Rodney Charles.

    His statement came during his contribution to debate as government seeks to extend the life of the legislation by 30 months.

    The law will expire on November 28th 2020 but Mr Charles said he is not in a position to support its extension.

    Speaking before Mr Charles and opening today’s debate, Attorney General Faris Al Rawi spoke highly of the law.

    Debate is continuing in the House of Representatives.
