MoE hands over devices to Special Schools and ECCE Centres


    The Education Ministry has handed over a number of laptops to Special Schools and ECCE Centres.

    70 laptops have been made available for use by ECCE teachers, while 98 laptops went to public Special Schools for use by children with special educational needs.

    According to the Ministry, the distribution of devices is being done in tandem with the Adopt-A-School Initiative.

    It says over 15 corporate entities and NGOs are in discussions to contribute via the sponsorship of digital devices and internet connectivity.

    It comes as teachers and students across the country prepare for the resumption of classes via virtual and other means due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
