The Health Ministry will increase the rate of COVID-19 vaccination.

In a release it says all existing appointments for the jab will be honoured and brought forward to the week ending April 25th.

To assist with the effort, it says between April 22nd and 25th, two new vaccination locations will be active at the Paddock in the Queen’s Park Savannah and the National Raquet Centre in Tacarigua.

These will administer to persons with existing appointments.

Three additional Designated COVID-19 Vaccine Facilities have also been activated at Morvant, Carenage and St Helena.

The Ministry says the vaccination of eligible persons using the current stock will end in approximately one week, with the required quantity of vaccines to be held to administer the second dose.

As such, it says at this time, no new appointments will be given and walk-in appointments will not be facilitated.

However, eligible persons can contact the various Vaccination Facilities to be included in the list to get a shot when new stock is available.
