Education Minister Anthony Garcia says work has been done to address a fallen 100 year old tree at the Arima Centenary Government Primary School.
The tree reportedly fell on the eastern side of the perimeter wall at the school on Friday, after the dismissal of school.
Mr Garcia says clean-up operations were undertaken by employees of the Arima Borough Corporation.
He adds that approval has already been granted by to repair the damaged area of the wall and then to treat with a more permanent solution.
A team led by the Minister has also since inspected and assessed the damage caused by the collapse of the tree and to ensure the necessary repairs and cleaning are completed in time for school tomorrow (Monday).
School Supervisors are carded to visit the school tomorrow to ensure that classes continue as normal.
