The Health Minister has responded to claims from three people during a NATUC media conference that they suffered adverse health effects after taking COVID-19 vaccines.
He however insists that while concerning, it is difficult to verify, since no medical evidence was put forward.
He was speaking during today’s Health Ministry briefing.
Mr. Deyalsingh also responded to a claim from one of the persons that attempts to report their experience were dismissed by health officials.
Also speaking was epidemiologist Dr. Avery Hinds, who explained that correlation, or events taking place one after the next, does not necessarily mean causation.
