Public Administration Minister Allyson West says yesterday’s disruption in internet services was a bit of ‘Murphy’s Law’ at play.

‘Murphy’s Law’ is an adage which states “Anything that can go wrong will go wrong”.

Minister West told the Senate today that while repairs to a major undersea cable was taking place, a second redundancy cable experienced problems.

The Minister says meetings will be held with the various service providers, along with an investigation to determine the best way forward.
