Met weather alert expected to end earlier, Tobago no longer affected

The Yellow Level Adverse Weather Alert currently in effect is due to come to an end two hours earlier than expected – at 6pm today.

This is the latest update from the T&T Met Office after it issued its initial alert on Monday.

It says Tobago is no longer under the advisory but there is a medium chance of heavy to intense showers and/or thunderstorms developing over Trinidad.

It warns that street/flash flooding, gusty winds and landslide/landslips can be expected.
