MET Service yellow level alert cancelled


    The MET Service has cancelled its Yellow Level Adverse Weather Alert for today.

    The alert was initially supposed to be active from 4am to 2pm today.

    And while heavy showers were reported across the country in the early morning period, the alert was discontinued at around 10:39am.

    It’s forecast for this afternoon is as follows: generally sunny and hazy conditions despite the low chance of a brief shower.

    Tonight meanwhile is expected to be mostly clear with the odd late night shower.
