Met Office: Still a high chance for heavy showers, thunderstorms, gusty winds

The Met Office is reminding that there is still a high chance of heavy showers, isolated thunderstorms and gusty winds in excess of 50kmh.

In an update to its Yellow Level Adverse Weather Alert, it says this is associated with the passage of the low level trough.

It says street and localized flooding in low lying areas, landslips and gusts in excess of 50km/h can accompany heavy showers and thunderstorms.

This alert is set to end at 6pm today and applies to Trinidad, Tobago and offshore areas.
