A 34-year-old man was ordered to have no contact with his teenage stepson after appearing in court today charged with cruelty to a child.
The accused, of Edinburgh 500, was granted $150,000 bail by Chaguanas Magistrate Adrian Darmanie and ordered to reappear on April 13th.
The 16-year-old boy says he was physically assaulted by his stepfather on several occasions.
In May 2019, he made a report to police with the suspect arrested on March 2nd and subsequently charged.
