Man obtains $65k in laptops with fraudulent cheque


    A businessman was arrested after allegedly buying $65,000 worth of laptops using a fraudulent cheque.

    43 year old Joseph Cain was charged after being positively identified by the man who sold him the devices.

    On October 22nd, the transaction involved a payment by cheque, but later on the victim was informed by his bank that it was fraudulent.

    Police investigated and went to a business place at 2nd Caledonia, Morvant where the suspect was at the time.

    There, they found 23 laptops of various brands.
