Man arrested after police find homemade shotgun


    A Tableland man has been arrested for gun and ammunition possession after police searched a makeshift camp in Moruga.

    Officers on patrol headed to Saunders Trace in St Mary’s Village around 11 o’clock last night.

    They came across the camp which had a male occupant at the time.

    A search led officers to a homemade shotgun with three rounds of 12 gauge cartridges.

    The 29 year old of Nohar Road, Tableland, was arrested.
