A 36-year-old labourer has been ordered to stay away from a teenager after appearing in court charged with sexual offences.
The TTPS says on March 23rd 2022, a report was filed stating that the teenager was seen in photographs and videos having intercourse with an adult male.
Following an investigation, the suspect was arrested and charged on March 4th 2023, with three counts of sexual penetration.
He appeared before Point Fortin Magistrate Alicia Chankar on March 6th and was granted $150,000 bail.
As part of the bail condition, the accused was ordered to stay 100 feet away from the victim, cannot have any form of contact her, and must report to the Police Station in his district every day.
He is expected to reappear in court on March 21st 2023.
