Chutney soca star Kris ‘KI’ Persad was attacked in a Florida restaurant last Friday.
In a video posted to his social media pages, the singer said he was heading to the washroom when he was confronted.
KI says he was first slapped and then had a bottle broken on the side of his head.
He adds that six men then began to beat him as he lay on the floor.
A report was made to Florida police.
