The resignation letter of Justice C. Dennis Morrison from the Paria Commission of Enquiry has been released in Parliament.
It was announced yesterday that the Jamaican Queen’s Counsel had resigned from the Commission appointed to look into the deaths of four divers earlier this year due to “personal reasons.”
Responding to a request by MP David Lee today, Minister Stuart Young read the resignation letter, dated June 14th, into Parliament’s hansard.
The new Commission Chairman was announced yesterday as Jerome Lynch, Q.C.
Mr Young today reiterated that the CoE’s work will not be delayed.
