The Airports Authority says normal ‘teething challenges’ caused yesterday’s disruption of the newly installed automated parking system at the Piarco International Airport.
There was a long queue at the airport’s atrium last evening, as persons who parked their vehicles could not leave, due to the new payment kiosks being non-operational.
The Authority issued a statement today apologizing for the inconvenience caused for a short duration.
It says solutions have been implemented to avoid further interruptions to the service.
103.1FM news was informed by a passenger that at least one of the two payment kiosks at the atrium was out of service since yesterday morning.
