Hillview College graduate Jeremiah Mathura has found a guarantor for his scholarship after pleading online for assistance.
The 2018 scholarship winner posted via Facebook yesterday that he was in need of a guarantor, since no one in his extended or nuclear family was able to do so.
The role of a guarantor is to repay the TT Government the funds expended on one’s scholarship with interest, should the student breach any of the clauses of the scholarship agreement.
Jeremiah’s Facebook post was shared hundreds of times, and revealed today that he has secured a reliable guarantor for his scholarship.
He however did not reveal the person’s name, since he wants to keep that confidential.
