Five COVID-19 cases with 20 primary contacts have been found in Heritage Petroleum’s offshore operations.
A media release from the company says all contacts, primary and secondary, will be tested in keeping with Health Ministry guidelines.
The company assures it is reviewing its processes to identify and address any gaps to minimize future risk.
While the affected persons remain in quarantine, Heritage and the contractor company will provide them with essential supplies.
It says has also set up a 24-hour hotline with a link to Telemedicine to support the crew members and their families – family members will also be tested.
