The Health Ministry is urging persons to get the COVID-19 shot, saying a range of WHO approved vaccines have been made available at locations throughout the country.

This, it adds, is available for members of the public 18 years and above, including the Pfizer vaccine for children 12 – 18 years of age.

The Ministry says vaccines are available in all five Regional Health Authorities, at all 109 Health Centres, in addition to the advertised Mass Vaccination sites.

It also reminds that no appointment is required, with persons to be facilitated on a first-come, first-served basis, based on vaccine availability.

Persons are also urged to follow the public health protocols, including the wearing of masks, physical distancing and washing of hands.
