Griffith and Giuliani talk crime reduction

    Police Commissioner Gary Griffith has met with former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani to discuss crime reduction.

    The two met today at Giuliani’s office in NYC where they discussed how the former mayor reduced crime in the city.

    According to the TTPS, his strategies led to major reductions in homicides, violent crimes, gang-related activities and domestic violence.

    Commissioner Griffith described their talks as beneficial and informative.

    Giuliani was mayor of New York City from January 1st, 1994 until December 31st, 2001.
