The Fyzabad MP says he will liaise with all parties to ensure the safety of residents while an oil spill is being cleaned up.
According to Dr Lackram Bodoe, says he met with Touchstone Exploration and residents following Wednesday’s Gower’s Well Road spill.
The MP along with Councillor Jason Ali and Touchstone arranged to have the constituents evacuated and temporarily housed.
The company believes as much as 240 barrels of oil spilled when vandals cut an oil transfer line and has notified police.
