Four men denied bail over gun, robbery charges

    Four men have been denied bail on several charges including gun possession and robbery.

    The group was arrested and taken to the Gasparillo Police Station on July 26th when officers allegedly found a gun and ammunition in their white Toyota Aqua.

    26-year-old Rashad Manoram of Belmont, 27-year-old Jamal Samuel of Laventille, 28-year-old Stephen Stewart of Belmont and 31-year-old Aaron Wheeler of Arima were charged with firearm and ammunition possession and appeared in court.

    Meanwhile, Stewart was identified from robberies in Princes Town in May and June and was charged with four counts of robbery with aggravation and seven counts of robbery with violence.

    Co-accused, Wheeler was additionally charged with seven counts of robbery with violence and one count of robbery with aggravation.

    They are expected to reappear in court on August 8th, 2022.
