Four men have been arrested following a robbery at a variety store along Endeavour Road, Chaguanas.
The store owner told police that, around 4:35pm yesterday, she saw four men, three of whom entered the business place and announced a hold up.
She said two of the men had firearms.
They allegedly took $1,500 cash, cigarettes, perfumes, soft drinks and other items before escaping in a white Nissan Tiida.
Officers responding to the incident apprehended the suspects along Narsaloo Ramaya Marg and retrieved the stolen items, a gun and ammunition.
