The office of the Foreign Affairs Ministry has been closed for sanitization after a member of staff tested positive for COVID-19.

In a release, Minister Dr Amery Browne said the worker was last in the building 10 days ago, on August 14th.

The staff was sent home, with most expected to return to work tomorrow.

The exception will be the workers who are primary contacts of the employee in question.

Those persons have been instructed to self-quarantine for 14-days.
