Following a viral video highlighting the condition of the La Horquetta Walkover, repairs are scheduled to begin tomorrow.
This is according to the Works Ministry which, in a public notice, says the structure will be closed between 9am and 2pm daily from Thursday 10th December to Wednesday 16th December 2020.
It notes that the repairs are “critical” and will also cause a temporary traffic disruption on the east and west bound lanes of the Churchill Roosevelt Highway near the walkover.
Drivers are being urged to proceed cautiously, comply with instructions from traffic wardens and be aware of heavy equipment on site.
