If another fisherman is killed on the seas, the blood will be on the hands of the Prime Minister, according to Fisherman and Friends of the Sea Secretary, Gary Aboud.
He made this statement this morning as he prepared to deliver a letter to the Dr Keith Rowley, outlining what the fishing community wants following the murder of 7 persons in the Gulf of Paria.
Mr Aboud says they are offering 12 recommendations, including updated legislation.
Fishermen say, due to safety concerns, they are venturing no more than a mile off the coast, moving in groups and fishing in daylight.
A spokesman for them says, due to this, they are catching just enough fish to take care of their families.
