Experimental traffic exercise to reduce congestion at Gasparillo Overpass

The public is being advised of an Experimental Traffic Control Exercise aimed at reducing the congestion experience at the Gasparillo Overpass.

The Works and Transport Ministry says this will be implemented between the Tarouba Overpass and the Gasparillo Overpass.

It states that in order to access the Gasparillo Bypass Road, motorists proceeding east along the Tarouba Link Road, across the Tarouba Overpass, may turn left onto the ramp connecting to the Brian Lara Cricket Academy, which is adjacent to the north-east exit ramp of the overpass.

Motorists however are advised that ONLY vehicles with a maximum weight of 3 tonnes are allowed to access this roadway.

The Ministry is asking motorists to be attentive within the given area, and adhere to all signs and instructions given by personnel within the Brian Lara Cricket Academy.
