While other persons may be unwrapping presents and eating food on Christmas morning, former employees of Lennox Petroleum will be protesting.
The ex-workers will be in front of the company on Princess Margaret Street, San Fernando from 10am.
The protest, according to the OWTU, stems from what it calls the company’s refusal to comply with a court judgement and outstanding back pay.
The company has already been quoted in a daily newspaper as saying it does not owe back pay but that there is an order for the company to pay retroactive monies to workers.
It was said that an appeal is still be heard in court in June 2021.
