Local media personality Errol Fabien is trying to raise $350,000 in 24 hours to stay in the house currently serving as his home and the studio for Gayelle TV.
In several videos posted to his Facebook page, Mr Fabien says police came to evict him this morning, and by the afternoon, the premises had been cleared of furniture and other items.
Mr Fabien says things have been financially difficult in recent months since he has just not been earning.
He made it clear however that he does not hold the bank to fault for the situation.
The incident however has prompted many persons to criticize the bank for undertaking such a move during the pandemic, which has had an economic impact.
Hundred have also contributed to a Go Fund Me that has been set up to raise the money.
As of 2:30pm, the account had collected $32,716.
