Erin man charged with cultivating 49 marijuana plants


    A 34-year-old labourer from Erin has been sentenced to two months in jail, for the cultivation of marijuana.

    Kelly Junior Lall was arrested and charged on July 26th, after police found him near his home at Partap Trace, Arena Village, standing in the midst of some vegetation

    Further investigations revealed a total of 49 fully-grown marijuana trees, planted in the ground as well as in several containers on the property.

    Lall appeared virtually before Siparia Magistrate Aden Stroude yesterday, where his sentence was handed down.
