A 2nd trailer is out for ‘Shazam! Fury of the Gods’ from DC Studios.
Zachary Levi and Asher Angel return as Billy Batson, aka Shazam, and fans are also being treated to a closer look at the villains being played by Dame Helen Mirren and Lucy Liu.
Dame Helen plays Hespera, and Liu is Kalypso – both are daughters of the Greek god Atlas.
Rachel Zegler also joins the cast as Anthea, another daughter of Atlas.
A bigger spotlight is also on Batson’s foster siblings, who all got superhero powers in the first ‘Shazam!’ movie.
According to reports, ‘Shazam!: Fury of the Gods’ was initially set for a late 2022 release, but was subsequently pushed back to avoid competition with ‘Avatar: The Way of Water.’
It is now set for theatrical release on March 17th 2023.
