WATCH: Indian dance crew gets ‘golden buzzer’ to reach semi-finals of America’s Got Talent

An Indian dance drew wowed judges of America’s Got Talent last night to reach straight into the semi-finals of the show.

The Mumbai dance and acrobatic crew wore the shirts with the name ‘Vikas’ to honour a lost member who got paralyzed and died several years ago.

The spokesperson for the 29 dancers said Vikas had dreamed of being on such a stage.

“Six years ago, we were doing rehearsals and suddenly the incident happened,” one of the dancers explained to the panel of judges before their performance. “He fell down and his body was paralyzed. After a few weeks he passed away.”

The judges were kept on the edge of their seats as the acrobatic performance kept their heart beating.

Guest judge and NBA star Dwayne Wade said after the performance that his heart was beating at a rapid pace he hasn’t felt before.

His wife, Gabrielle Union, who is a regular judge on the show, was also seen gasping several times during the performance.

The dance crew received a standing ovation after the breath-taking act that fused dangerous acrobatics with dance, set to an upbeat Indian song.

The crew got the ‘golden buzzer’ from judge Dwayne Wade, which sent the Mumbai dance crew, straight through to the live shows in Hollywood.
