The makers of hit series “Ted Lasso” have teased a springtime release date for the show’s third season.

Apple TV Plus shared a photo from the third season showing the titular character face to face with Nathan Shelley.

This suggests that the upcoming season will look into a rivalry between AFC Richmond Head Coach Ted Lasso and Shelley, played by actor Nick Mohammed, who has Trinbagonian roots (see more below).

“Ted Lasso” is based on a character created and played by Jason Sudeikis in promos for NBC Sports’ coverage of the Premier League.

The first two seasons of the show were critically acclaimed, winning eight Primetime Emmys, two Primetime Creative Arts Emmys and two Golden Globes, among a host of other awards and nominations.
