Raveena Tandon and M.M. Keeravani have been awarded the Padma Shri, India’s 4th highest civilian honour.
They are just two on a list of awardees, who were honoured for their contribution to various fields including art, science & engineering and literature & education and even spiritualism.
Reacting to the news, Raveena dedicated this award to her late father and film producer, Ravi Tandon, and expressed her gratitude to fans.
Meanwhile, composer M.M. Keeravani said he was honoured and paid tribute to his parents and all his mentors.
Keeravani recently won a Golden Globe and scored an Academy Award nomination for the song “Naatu Naatu” from the movie ‘RRR’.
