The song “Naatu Naatu” is getting even more attention since winning Best Original Song at Sunday’s Academy Awards.
The song from the Telugu film ‘RRR’ shot into the headlines prior to the Oscars, as it won other awards, including a Golden Globe and a Critics’ Choice Award, earlier this year.
Since Sunday however, online searches for it have increased by an unbelievable 1,105% worldwide!
The attention is well deserved, with many praising the song’s catchy chorus and energetic choreography.
The scene featuring the song was actually filmed in front of Mariinsky Palace in Kyiv, Ukraine, a few months before the Russian invasion.
The palace is also known as the presidential residence.
