India singer Lata Mangeshkar has reportedly been admitted to the ICU of a Mumbai hospital after testing positive for COVID-19.
Several reports out of India state that, according to her niece Rachna, she has been placed in ICU care due to her age.
As quoted by the Asian News International, Rachna says Lata is doing fine and asked fans to keep her in their prayers.

The songstress, who has been active since the 1940s, is 92 years old.
During her illustrious career, she has been won several awards, including India’s top three highest civilian awards – the Bharat Ratna, the Padma Vibhushan and the Padma Bhushan.
