8-year-old Katelin Sultan has created history by qualifying for the Final of the 2023 Chutney Soca Monarch.
She is the youngest artiste to qualify for a final in a major Carnival competition.
The Semi Final took place at Screamers in Debe last Friday.
According to Southex Promotions, Daddy Chinee topped the semi final round with ‘We are One’, while Kenneth Supersad was close behind with his song ‘Moonilal’.
12 artistes now join defending monarch GI Beharry for the Grand Final which is scheduled for February 17th 2023 at the newly renovated Skinner Park in San Fernando.
GI will be looking to win his 4th consecutive crown.
