Ahead of the Tobago House of Assembly elections, the Elections and Boundaries Commission recommends that the island’s electoral districts remain unchanged.

The THA has already been dissolved, nomination day as been set as January 4th 2021 and the polls will held on January 25th 2021.

Speaking in Parliament today, Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley says the EBC report states that districts in Tobago are complying with rules governing their sizes.

Opposition MP Saddam Hosein, in response, says there is no contention with the contents of the EBC report.

Dr Rowley believes this stamp of approval nullifies a recent allegation by the Opposition Leader about the apportioning of electoral seats.
