The Dwight Yorke Stadium in Tobago will not be available to the public for any activities until construction is finished.

According to the Sport Ministry, phases 1 and 2 of rehabilitation works must first be completed and clearance granted by OSHA.

After this is done, the facility will be officially handed over by the Urban Development Corporation of T&T (UDeCOTT).

Though apologizing for the inconvenience, the Ministry says closing the facility at this time is to ensure the safety of all users.
