There is an encouraging downward trend in the numbers of COVID-19 cases, according to Epidemiologist Dr Avery Hinds.
At today’s Health Ministry media briefing he gave an update on the epidemiological curve.
He explained that daily numbers continue to decrease after peaking last month.
Turning to the positivity rate, which is the number of samples testing positive out of every 100, Dr Hinds said there is the beginning of a downward trend.
It has now dropped into the low 30% range after peaking in the 40s in May.
