A doubles vendor was gunned down while working at his stall in Curepe on Tuesday night.
Media reports state that gunmen approached the doubles stand shortly after 7pm and opened fire on the vendor.
Newsday reported that he was taken for medical treatment, but was declared dead on arrival.
A similar incident occurred in August 2019 when doubles vendor Shazard Manick was shot while working at the same area along the Southern Main Road.
Meanwhile, Newsday reported that another fatal shooting incident occurred on Tuesday evening, in the Tunapuna area.
Following gunshots heard along Tunapuna Road, a resident found a man bleeding in her yard.
The victim, identified as a 35 year old man, was declared dead at the scene.
