Three suspects in a double murder have been arrested and a manhunt is on for three others after a shootout with police in St Augustine.
Police say around 2:45pm yesterday, a grey Toyota Corolla stopped along Warner Street and four men began shooting at persons.
16-year-old Darshan Ramnath and another man identified as Geno were seen lying motionless on the roadway.
Officers responded and intercepted a car with six occupants who opened fire on the lawmen, prompting a return of fire.
Three were arrested and three others escaped but are believed to be wounded.
Police later discovered four firearms, including one AK-47 and three pistols with extended magazines, one bullet proof vest and one strobe light in the vehicle.
