A Diego Martin man is expected to appear before a Port of Spain Magistrate today charged with possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.
The 45-year-old accused was arrested at his home during an anti-crime exercise between 7pm on Tuesday and 2am on Wednesday.
During a search, officers reportedly found two plastic bags containing 3.02 kilograms of marijuana in his possession.
The drug has an estimated street value of $30,200.
