Deyalsingh warns of jail time for selling fake vaccination cards

Files are being sent to police about the sale of fake vaccination cards and, if proven guilty, perpetrators can be jailed for seven years.

This is according to Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh who was today questioned about rumours of the sale of forged cards.

He said a report has been made about a possible breach of the Forgery Act.

Minister Deyalsingh said mitigation measures have also been put in place to safeguard the Ministry’s vaccination cards.
